Legal Coordinator

Alysa is the Voting Rights Project’s Legal Coordinator. As the Legal Coordinator, Alysa plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the legal team, including finalizing and filing legal briefs, providing trial support, and coordinating vendor logistics. Additionally, Alysa provides technical and organizational assistance for the Voting Rights & Law clinic, oversees social media, and manages office operations for the VRP’s Downtown Los Angeles office.
Prior to this, Alysa worked as a Paralegal at an immigration firm, where she assisted foreign nationals in obtaining citizenship through employment sponsorship, and as a Coordinator at a local family homeless shelter, managing casework and assisting with the disbursement of the Los Angeles’s COVID-19 Rental Assistance program.
Alysa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of San Francisco, with a major in International Business and a minor in Legal Studies.
