Arianah I. Rizzo
ARIANAH I. RIZZO (she/her/hers) is a senior studying Political Science with a minor in Community Engagement and Social Change. A returning Policy Fellow within the UCLA LPPI Programs/Leadership Department, Arianah is committed to serving as a champion of accessible and equitable systems of government, policies, and solutions.
Arianah will spend her fall quarter in Washington D.C., interning for the Council for Court Excellence. While at UCLA, she served as a JusticeCorps Student member to provide neutral assistance to Spanish-speaking, self-represented individuals navigating the complex legal system. Arianah held an internship with the Judicial Council of California’s Governmental Affairs Office in Sacramento and supported their goal of advancing access to justice for all. She has an ongoing role with Freedom For Immigrants, as a member of the Direct Advocacy Team to document reported abuse in detention facilities. Arianah served as a Civic Engagement intern for HOPE (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality), where she supported the execution of major events to connect professional and student leaders with elected officials and advocate for public policy affecting Latinas. Arianah is the proud daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico and grew up in Pasadena, CA.
