Cris Rivera
Cris Rivera serves as Communications Manager at the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute. In this role, he supports the development and implementation of a strategic communications program designed to enhance LPPI’s research work.
Prior to joining LPPI, Cris cultivated a diverse skill set across multiple tech domains, encompassing legal, marketing, cybersecurity, and health. With a wealth of expertise spanning over six years in the field of communications and public relations, he has implemented strategic campaigns that have led to earned media coverage, increased brand visibility, and elevated C-Suite executives as industry thought leaders.
Drawing upon his foundation in journalism and adept writing skills, Cris excels in crafting compelling narratives. His professional journey includes notable contributions at renowned agencies such as Ruder Finn and Karbo Communications. Cris is a proud graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
