Gabriella Carmona
Gabby Carmona is driven by a passion for combating social and economic injustice — from supporting civic leaders in adopting policies that prioritize quality of life, to democratizing data that bring to light disparities, to empowering everyday citizens with practical solutions for inclusion and equity. At LPPI, she serves as the Policy Analyst under the advocacy and mobilization team, where she fosters external stakeholder partnerships, coordinates advocacy opportunities, oversees policy analysis, and helps amplify research.
Previously, she served as the Senior Policy Associate at New American Economy (NAE), a bipartisan research and advocacy organization dedicated to immigration reform. At NAE, she supported a network of over 100 cities, counties, chambers of commerce, and nonprofits with original research, best practices, federal advocacy opportunities, and direct technical assistance to support the development of multi-sector immigrant integration plans that outline concrete strategies for uplifting marginalized community members.
She holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Williams College and was an undergraduate Mellon Mays Fellow. As of September 2022, Gabby has transitioned to part-time employment to pursue her Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
