Jessica Rodriguez
JESSICA RODRIGUEZ is pursuing her M.B.A. at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with a focus on management consulting, social entrepreneurship, and venture capital. As the daughter of an immigrant mother, it has been evident to Jessica that the many opportunities in her life were not a coincidence but the cumulative work of her mother and the community that stood behind her. Because of this support, Jessica was able to attend UC Berkeley and earn her B.A. in Political Science. Afterwards, she pursued a career in youth-serving and education-focused organizations. This included joining the founding team of the Richmond Promise, a college access and success organization in Richmond, California. At Richmond Promise, Jessica served as the Director of Operations & Partnerships, leading the development of the organization’s finance, data management and analysis, and operational processes, and designing long-term strategies to maximize impact. At the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute, Jessica is similarly supporting the development of organizational policies and processes.
