Julie Aguilar
Julie Aguilar is an LPPI Policy Fellow and MPP ’21 at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. She is interested in designing comprehensive immigration policies that support unaccompanied minors, asylum seekers, and detained migrants. Julie has co-authored LPPI research on the impact of shelter-in-place policies on LA communities of color. In her current research for LPPI’s Juvenile Justice report, she learned how data-driven analysis can legitimize and illustrate the needs of marginalized groups.
