Lana Zimmerman
LANA ZIMMERMAN (she/her/hers) is a second year Master of Public Policy student at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. An incoming Fellow with the LPPI Research Department, Lana specializes in data analytics and environmental justice.
During her first year at UCLA, Lana served as an environmental justice field fellow with the Luskin Center for Innovation. In this position, she worked as a policy researcher for the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. She recently completed the Bohnett Fellowship with the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Prior to attending UCLA, Lana worked as a curatorial research assistant for an upcoming Self-Help Graphics exhibition addressing environmental racism in Los Angeles. Lana has dedicated her early professional experiences to promoting environmental justice among underserved areas of Los Angeles.
Lana is a proud deaf/disabled, Latina, first-generation college student from the San Fernando Valley who looks forward to continuing advocacy within her communities.
