LESLIE GOMEZ (she/her/hers) is a fourth-year student double majoring in Education and Social Transformation & Chicana and Chicano Studies. As an incoming Policy Fellow in the Leadership Programs Department she is passionate about supporting underrepresented communities and making higher education equitable. 

At UCLA Leslie has served as Co-Chair for the Latinx Admit Weekend and currently serves as an Advisor/External Affairs Head to provide additional support to the student organization. Additionally, she has previously worked with First To Go to support first-generation students as a Graduation/Career Specialist and is currently the Academic Specialist. This summer she completed her role as Office Manager for the National Student Leadership Conference.

Born and raised in Escondido, CA, Leslie is proud of her identity as a Latina, first-generation student, and daughter to immigrant parents.
