XIAN LUN ZENG (they/them) is a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Human Biology and Society and minoring in Public Health. They are an incoming fellow at LPPI in the Research Department interested in addressing the longstanding societal barriers to achieving quality health for all. Xian seeks to pursue a dual degree in public health and medicine to become a physician-researcher focused on historically marginalized populations, particularly LGBTQ+ populations.
Previously, they worked as a research assistant at LPPI, helping to collect data and to construct the report on the state of Medi-Cal and future directions for expanding health insurance to all Californians.
Xian is from Irvine, California and is queer.
