Matthew Cooke

Legal Fellow

Matthew Cooke is a third-year law student at UCLA and a Voting Rights Project Legal Fellow. Matthew is dedicated to upholding and advancing democracy through law, and his work as a fellow has included legal research and writing in support of litigation in state and federal courts in Washington, California, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Matthew’s scholarship concerning the relationship between the constitutional guarantee of a republican form of government and legislative protection of the right to vote is forthcoming in the UCLA Law Review.
