Summary:

Each legislative cycle, LPPI meets with members of the California Legislature and statewide constitutional officers to share relevant policy analysis pertinent to all Californians. In 2018, LPPI co-hosted a California Legislative Briefing with the California Latino Legislative Caucus for legislative staff, advocates, and agency leaders to share groundbreaking research on DACA, bail reform, and the Latino GDP. LPPI faculty experts have been called upon by legislators and their staff to share data points pertinent to their districts and to brainstorm creative ways inform evidence-based policy.
