Summary:
Each legislative cycle, LPPI meets with members of the California Legislature and statewide constitutional officers to share relevant policy analysis pertinent to all Californians. In 2019, LPPI continued to share data and facts in real-time with California’s governing bodies, with the aim of ensuring domestic policy solutions integrate the needs of all Californians. LPPI faculty experts have been called upon by legislators and their staff to share data points pertinent to their districts and to brainstorm creative ways to inform evidence-based policy.
