Panelists discuss the act of democracy in relation to the 2020 election

Professor of Social Welfare and Public Policy Fernando Torres-Gil Ph.D. ’76, took part in the  discussion, titled “The Act of Democracy,” which referenced an op-ed written by Former United  States Representative John Lewis, which he wrote a few days before his death, stating that  “democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part.”
